Pretty ring. Stone is a little more aqua than aqua-cyan in the picture. Definitely more on the blue side but still has that lagoon feel. The gold isn¡¯t quite as rich in color as a ring which is my point of comparison. It is paler but I have no reason to doubt its authenticity- likely different mix of alloy.

I absolutely love my ring. Aquamarine is my birthstone and I bought it for myself. I didn't want to have to tell my husband and wait. LOL The starburst in the aquamarine is something I've never seen. Not once has the ring caught on anything. I've had rings that the prongs catch in my hair or my coat. It seems very well put together. I just hope the gold plating holds up. I didn't read the care instructions before I purchased, which is on me. I didn't realize you can't clean it. I don't wear my jewelry in the shower or use lotion. My grandmother always warned me never to buy plated jewelry. I guess I'll take my chances. LOL
